I am Mayur Patil, a forward-deployed AI architect, advisor and corporate trainer based in Nashik, India.

I have spent 26 years in software engineering and architecture.

I have worked with clients in the United States, the United Kingdom, the UAE, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Italy, Switzerland, South Africa and Mauritius, and I travel for engagements. In recent years I have trained more than 3,000 engineers across India, Singapore and the Gulf, including teams at three Fortune 500 companies. I travel often and speak at industry events.

I still build. I write the code and the evaluation harnesses in my own engagements, in Python, on Databricks, Vertex AI on Google Cloud and Azure AI Foundry: model training and fine-tuning, agent architecture and orchestration, retrieval systems and their evaluation harnesses, and data engineering. Recent enterprise programmes have also covered GitHub Copilot, Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot and Power Automate. I am not a diagrams-only architect.

Today I do two things. I help enterprises decide, design and build AI that fits the systems they already run. And I build forward-deployed engineering capability for services firms, with programmes for teams at Tredence and Persistent Systems among others.

I co-founded Aurelia Innovatives Pvt. Ltd., the legal entity, and its training brand, AIXL Academy. Every engagement, training or consulting, is contracted with Aurelia Innovatives Pvt. Ltd. My co-founder, Mohini Patil, works as a forward-deployed engineer on the Microsoft platform: Copilot, Fabric and Power Automate.

Research interests

Outside client work I keep three lines of research open: ontology for enterprise AI, deterministic orchestrators around neural components, and native tokenizers and embedding systems for edge devices. They are described on the Research page and written up under Writing.

Working with others

Larger engagements draw on named AIXL contributors, agreed before the work starts. I lead the architecture and remain accountable for every deliverable.
