Engagements
I take three kinds of work: advisory, delivery and FDE capability. All prices are in INR and exclude GST. I quote in USD for clients outside India. Contracts are with Aurelia Innovatives Pvt. Ltd., the legal entity behind AIXL Academy.
Advisory
AI Delivery Readiness Review
Two weeks on one workflow or pilot. I review what exists, speak to up to five people who own or do the work, and produce a written readout covering:
- the problem and the outcome that matters;
- the workflow, its dependencies and who owns them;
- whether data, access and evaluation are ready;
- the options and their trade-offs; and
- a recommendation to proceed, reframe or pause, with a prioritised plan.
The recommendation may be to stop. Nothing obliges you to buy a second engagement.
Architecture Sprint
Two to four weeks on one agreed use case. It produces:
- a solution architecture with data and integration boundaries;
- decisions on models, retrieval and agents, with the reasoning recorded;
- an evaluation and acceptance plan; and
- a prioritised delivery backlog.
Your team can build from it without me.
Delivery
Forward-Deployed AI Delivery
One bounded use case, built inside your systems. Scope, responsibilities and acceptance criteria are written down before the build starts. I lead the architecture and the critical technical decisions, and your engineers work alongside me.
It ends with the agreed implementation, evaluation results against agreed tests, and a runbook handed to a named owner.
Price: scoped per engagement and paid by milestone.
FDE capability and training
FDE cohort
A custom programme for a services firm, systems integrator or capability centre building a forward-deployed capability. It runs residential or hybrid.
Each participant produces a discovery brief, an architecture decision record, a working build, an evaluation report and a handover note. I report what each person demonstrated, which is not the same as who attended.
FDE curriculum
For firms that will deliver the programme themselves, I design the curriculum, scenarios and assessment rubric, and train your trainers.
Role-specific programme
Two to five days for one enterprise team, built on its own tools and use cases. Recent subjects: Copilot Studio for procurement, GitHub Copilot agents for engineering teams, AI architecture for senior engineers.
How I work
- Fixed scope. Every engagement has a defined output and an end date.
- Built on your work. Reviews, builds and exercises use your systems, your data and your use cases.
- Things you keep. Written decisions, working software and assessment evidence, not workshop notes.
- Discretion. I publish nothing about a client without agreement.
Continuing advisory is scoped after a first engagement. I do not sell a retainer before I understand the work.
Common questions
What is forward-deployed engineering?
Forward-deployed engineering is a way of delivering technology in which engineers work inside the customer's environment, close to the problem, instead of handing over a product from a distance. For AI, it means finding the real workflow, working within the client's data and systems, and staying until the result runs. Palantir popularised the model.
Do I have to buy a second engagement after the review?
No. The review ends with a written recommendation. It may tell you to proceed, to reframe the work or to pause it, and you can act on it with your own team.
Do you work outside India?
Yes. I have worked with clients in the United States, the United Kingdom, the UAE, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Italy, Switzerland, South Africa and Mauritius. I am based in Nashik, India, and travel for engagements.
How is this different from hiring a consultant?
Traditional advisory may end with a recommendation, and my own readiness review does exactly that. Forward-deployed delivery goes further: a running system, the recorded decisions behind it and a team that can own it. The engagement ends when the system runs, not when the document is delivered.
How is the FDE cohort different from a bootcamp?
A bootcamp teaches tools. The cohort assesses judgement inside a realistic client environment: discovery, architecture, integration and handover, each against a written rubric. I report what each person demonstrated, not who attended.
I want to learn this myself, not buy a corporate programme.
See Programmes for the public cohort.
