Singapore's banks, insurers and enterprises are among the most advanced buyers of agent work in the region, and their governance questions are specific. A Singapore team usually wants a clear answer on accountability, testing and data handling before it commits. This page explains how I work with Singapore and APAC teams from India: the hours, the travel, the contracting and the shapes of engagement.
Can you work with us here?

How engagements run from India
Singapore is on UTC plus eight. India is two and a half hours behind it, so a 9:00 to 17:00 Singapore day is 6:30 to 14:30 in India. The overlap is comfortable: the morning in India is the working afternoon in Singapore, and most decisions can be made in that window.
The build runs in India and is reviewed with the owner during the overlap. I am in Singapore often for engagements, so discovery, the readiness review and the handover can be done on site. Between visits, the work continues from India.
Engagement shapes
- AI Delivery Readiness Review. Two weeks on one workflow, ending in a written decision to proceed, reframe or pause.
- Architecture Sprint. Two to four weeks on one use case, with the architecture, the decisions and a backlog.
- Forward-deployed AI delivery. One bounded use case, built inside the client's systems, with a runbook and a named owner.

The framework and the data law
Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act applies to personal data. The Model AI Governance Framework for Agentic AI, launched in January 2026, is voluntary and sets out four dimensions for governing agents. The MAS guidelines on AI risk management apply to financial institutions. The readiness review checks each agent against these in writing before the build, so the governance record exists from the start.
Travel
I am in Singapore often for engagements. Discovery and handover can be on site, and the build continues from India between visits. Travel for other APAC locations is arranged per engagement. Where possible, a trip is planned at least two weeks ahead, and its costs are set out in the engagement document.
Contracting
Engagements are contracted through Aurelia Innovatives Pvt. Ltd. Invoices are in US dollars (USD). The terms, the timing and the work location are set out in the engagement document.
