Work with me in the United States
US teams building agents run into the same questions every time: which state's law applies to a decision, who can see what the agent reads, and which actions need a person to approve them. This page explains how I work with US teams from India, including the time overlap, the rules that shape the design, and the engagement shapes.
Can you work with us here?
Yes. I work with US teams on forward-deployed AI consulting and on training, with US Pacific time covered by a short, agreed overlap. The Bay Area consulting page covers the Bay Area method in more depth, and the United States pillar sets out the rules with their sources.
How engagements run from India
I am based in Nashik, India, which is on India time. Pacific time is about twelve and a half hours behind India during standard time, and eleven and a half hours behind during daylight saving. The gap changes twice a year, so the overlap is set for each project rather than assumed.
In practice, decisions are scheduled at the start of the Pacific day, which is the end of the Indian day, and the build runs in India overnight and is reviewed with the owner in the morning. I run back-to-back full-day corporate trainings, mostly in IST, and some programmes run in US Pacific time for US-based teams.
Engagement shapes
- AI Delivery Readiness Review. Two weeks on one workflow. It produces a state map, a data map, an approval list and an evaluation plan, and ends with a written decision to proceed, reframe or pause.
- Architecture Sprint. Two to four weeks on one use case, with the architecture, the decisions and a backlog.
- Forward-deployed AI delivery. One bounded use case, built inside your systems, with a runbook and a named owner.
Each shape is quoted on its scope. The engagements page describes what each one includes. I do not publish prices.
The rules that shape the work
There is no general federal statute for AI use by private companies. The binding duties come from state law and sector rules. Illinois HB 3773 took effect on 1 January 2026 and covers AI in employment decisions. Colorado's AI Act was replaced by SB 26-189, which takes effect on 1 January 2027. California's SB 53 applies to large developers of frontier models. The NIST AI Risk Management Framework is voluntary, and most US risk teams use its vocabulary of govern, map, measure and manage.
Travel
Most US work runs from India, with the overlap agreed for the project. Visits to the US are arranged per engagement, where discovery or handover needs them. Where possible, a visit is planned at least two weeks ahead. Travel and accommodation are set out in the engagement document.
Contracting
Engagements are contracted through Aurelia Innovatives Pvt. Ltd. Invoices are in US dollars (USD). The scope, the timing and the work location are stated in the engagement document before work starts.
Organisations I have worked with
The organisations I can name are listed on the about page. They include Walmart, whose procurement teams have been through a programme on Microsoft 365 Copilot and agent tooling, and UnitedHealthcare.
Common questions
How do you handle the time difference with US teams?
The overlap is short and set per project. Decisions are scheduled early in the Pacific day, and the build runs in India.
Do state AI laws apply to an agent we build for US customers?
It depends on where the affected people live and what the agent decides. The readiness review checks each state's current text before the design is fixed.
Can you run a programme for a US team?
Yes. Some programmes run in US Pacific time for teams in the Bay Area, and the schedule is agreed for each programme.
Who is the contracting entity?
Aurelia Innovatives Pvt. Ltd. Invoices are in US dollars (USD), and the terms are set out in each engagement.
