Forward-deployed AI engineering training in Dubai

Dubai engineers often start from a system that already reads personal data. The programme teaches them to build the next one with the reviewers in mind. Each piece of work is judged against a written standard, and participants leave with a working system and an honest account of what they did.

I am Mayur Patil, based in Nashik, India. I run the public cohort and team programmes, and I am in Dubai often for engagements.

Who takes the training in Dubai

The people who join are usually the engineers who will be asked to build the next agent, and the leads who must decide whether the team can. Companies send a team when a pilot has impressed a board, but nobody on the team has yet shipped one.

What the programme builds

The programme is built around one question a Dubai team must answer before it ships: who may see what the agent reads. Participants design a retrieval layer that respects the rights of the person asking, then add a tool that changes a record only after an approver signs it off. The evaluation set includes the cases a reviewer would try first.

Example scenarios

These scenarios are examples, labelled as such. A team may build any of them, or its own:

  • A claims-support agent that summarises a file and routes exceptions to a named reviewer.
  • A logistics agent that drafts carrier replies and records each change.
  • A customer-service agent that prepares a case summary and needs approval before it changes a record.

The public cohort or your team

  • The public cohort is for individual engineers. It runs live online, with the weekday-evening and Saturday and Sunday tracks, and it is booked on the AIXL Academy page.
  • A team programme is for one team working on its own systems. It starts with a short conversation about the team's work, and it is booked by sending an enquiry.

Gates and artefacts

Every participant produces a discovery brief, an architecture decision record, a working build, an evaluation report and a handover note. In Dubai, the data map in the discovery brief is written with the DIFC question in mind.

Time zones

Dubai is 1 hour and 30 minutes behind India. Team programmes can run in Dubai hours. The public cohort runs in India time, so participants in Dubai should check the times on the AIXL Academy page before they enrol. I run back-to-back full-day corporate trainings, mostly in IST, and some programmes in US Pacific time for teams in the Bay Area.

Relevant work

The organisations I have worked with and can name are on the about page. Walmart's procurement teams and Persistent are two of the examples there.

Where to go next

The FDE training hub covers the programmes. For consulting in Dubai, the Dubai consulting page explains the engagement shapes and the DIFC question.

Common questions

Who takes the training in Dubai?

Engineers and engineering leaders in enterprises, banks and services firms who need to build AI systems that a risk or government reviewer can inspect and an owner can run.

Can a Dubai team run a programme on its own tools and data?

Yes. A team programme is built on the team's tools, use cases and data, and ends with a working system the team owns and an assessment of each person's demonstrated skills.

What is the public cohort format?

Live online, with a weekday-evening track and a Saturday and Sunday track. Dates and timings are on the AIXL Academy page.

Which time zone is the training run in?

The public cohort runs in India time. Dubai is 1 hour and 30 minutes behind India, so a session that starts in the Indian evening finishes in the Dubai afternoon. Team programmes are scheduled in the team's own hours.
